Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the SMECO headquarters in Hughesville and its regional office in Leonardtown are open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., except for holidays.
Cooperative offices are closed in observance of all Federal holidays, as well as Good Friday and the Friday following Thanksgiving Day. SMECO maintains an Operations Center and a Contact Center that are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in order to rapidly respond to electrical outages and provide convenient customer service.
