Nominating Committee to meet in May

The 2018 Nominating Committee will be appointed at the March meeting of SMECO’s Board of Directors and will meet in May to select candidates for SMECO’s Board. The meeting will be held in the board room at 15035 Burnt Store Road in Hughesville, Maryland. This committee will select candidates for the five available Board positions.

Reading your meter

Reading your smart meter is easy. The digital display on the meter cycles through seven screens. Each screen has a meaning, but for most customers the third screen shows all you need to know: the amount of electricity used.
