Upgrades introduced for SMECO 24/7

We've been making upgrades to SMECO 24/7. The online, mobile, and texting options are easy-to-use and make doing business with us even easier.


Account Manager enables you to set up AutoPay or Budget Billing, review and pay bills, manage your secure wallet, and set notification preferences for email and text notices. Now, you can also go to Notification Preferences to sign up to receive past due notices by text or email.


The texting service lets members report an outage, check outage status, obtain account balances, pay bills using the secure wallet, and receive outage and payment notices. Now, you can receive past due notices. You can also choose an amount to pay, and then either pay immediately or on the due date. Already registered? Just text SUB to 76326 to receive the newest features available. Want to sign up? Text REG to 76326. You will need your account number if your phone number does not match our records.

Mobile app

Use the SMECO 24/7 app to report an outage, check the status, and reference our outage map, receive news updates, and make payments. For security, the app does not store payment information. Starting later this month, you will be able to use your Account Manager credentials to log in and review your bills and payments, manage your notification preferences, and make payments.
