To submit your non-profit organization’s event for appearance on our Cooperative Review calendar page and this Web site’s Around Town page, please fill out the form below.

Submission Guidelines:

SMECO’s Around Town community calendar is designed to announce educational, social, cultural, or recreational events, open to the general public, sponsored by non-profit civic, social, charitable, fraternal or educational organizations. The Around Town community calendar may not be used to promote business, political, or advocacy events, or regularly scheduled activities (i.e., church services, exercise classes, etc.). Exceptions to these guidelines may be made at SMECO’s discretion.

Note: While all items will appear on the Web site, not all items will be included in the newsletter. Items for the Cooperative Review are published on a space-available basis. To be considered for the Cooperative Review, your event should be submitted three months in advance.

Note: If your event is held monthly or quarterly, please submit one notice for each date. You can use the same information for each month without having to retype it. After you submit the event once, click the Return link on the Thank You page to come back to this form, change the date, and select Submit below.
